Small Businesswomen training workshop – Kinshasa – days 2 and 3

The second day of our training for women entrepreneurs was devoted to following the case of a soap merchant (how to forecast sales, how to increase sales, how to calculate capital and how much to pay oneself). Then we practised how to prioritise personal and family expenses and make a budget.

The third day we reviewed how to calculate a small business cash flow and how to make a family budget by prioritising expenses and saving for those such as tuition fees, ceremonies and emergencies, taking a real Congolese example : the seller of baguettes (French bread). One of the participants then invited a baguettes saleswoman who explained to us what she earns and pays. Then we reviewed practical ways to effectively implement our budget (envelopes, purpose …) and how to get out of debt.
