For our third day of training the trainers, we finished the practise sessions, watched some examples of training implementation done with other organisations then reviewed a few key points on budgeting. Then participants set up a small shop and ran it, competing with each other. This (once again well appreciated) game enabled us to learn about cash accounting, how to calculate a profit, count and match cash, identify the challenges of running a business and how we can address them. These insights are very important as trainers work with small business owners. Finally they started discovering the first module of the business literacy programme developed for GIZ.
