Entrepreneurship through a game: video

How to approach entrepreneurship with young people? Quite simply, by simulating running a small shop! Young people set up a shop, buy, sell, negotiate and keep accounts… and compete with each other. They must also decide, plan and agree with their partners. The game is multi-faceted and introduces different aspects of starting and running a small business. Participants debrief the lessons they have learned from the game (not boring top-down lecture). This will help trainers or teachers build their follow-up course contents from what youth have learned from the game.

This training was carried out in Kinshasa at ORPER, as part of a training of trainers with Apprentis d’Auteuil.
