Training of trainers in Laos for organisations working in vocational programmes for students. In our first day, after the introduction (problem / solution game), participants ran a small business, then in the afternoon, we focused on bookkeeping (cash accounting) with an example of a coconut shop. We used the bookkeeping to calculate the shop profit (or rather… loss). We learned how to record sales on credit, and self-consumption, and how to keep personal and business money separate. We finished the day with cash forecasting.
