On Tuesday December 9th, CMA Testing hosted an ESG (Environment, Society and Governance) seminar, focusing on disclosure and implementation, and had a range of speakers to talk about strategies for how to write and compile a sustainability report, how to enrich content, tips on social innovation in social enterprises and social impact measurements.
Soraya (a+b=3) did a 20 minute presentation on financial literacy, stressing how mindful money management and planning can positively impact the environment and the social fabric around us, and how corporations can play a role in developing their staff’s own financial literacy and widen their ESG policies through their employees.
The audience played an active role in two exercises, one outlining the extent of work and personal budgeting, and the second to show how environmentally aware they are in their daily lives.
Well done on this Soraya and Sophie! I am very excited that a+b=3 is taking on this timely crucial topic.
