New partner in Cambodia – ICS-SP

ICS- Skillful Parenting anda+b=3 are happy to announce their partnership in Cambodia.

ICS-SP is a Cambodian non-profit organization that aims to improve family lives and the well-being of children and women, especially reduce and prevent violence against children and promote age appropriate parenting, by working with parents and caregivers, by strengthening families and communities, and by strengthening and influencing the government, civil society and private sector towards better policies and practice to fulfil the protection of children.
a + b = 3 (a and b make 3) is an international social enterprise that aims to help people make more responsible, ethical and mindful decisions with money, reduce financial vulnerability and nurture more harmonious lives, communities and society, by designing financial education programmes, and empowering NGOs to implement them.
As seeing the economic stress as one of the parents’ main challenges in child rearing, ICS and a+b=3 created a module on family budgeting in 2014, that has been used with a large number of parents and other local NGOs. Both ICS-SP and a+b=3 decided to take our cooperation one step further and become partners in Cambodia.  With the ever growing over-indebtedness issue in Cambodia, our partnership aims to reach more Khmer people and NGOs, and contribute to building more harmonious and resilient Cambodian families.
