From January 23 to 25, about fifty teachers participated in a training of trainers in financial education. This training covered the basics of money management as well as pedagogical techniques in financial education and introduced a + b = 3’s new programme for schools in RD Congo, which consists of nine courses of 50 minutes each on the topics such as control of expenditures, the importance of savings, budget, financial responsibility and ethics as well as entrepreneurship.
The training took place at the International School SAFAK Turkish School and was very well received by teachers and will be followed by preparatory meetings to facilitate the courses to students during the money week in March.
