On this second day of training with EDC and weavers from Ban Saphai village, near Pakse, after reviewing yesterday’s key learning points, we focused on managing personal expenses: setting priorities, planning (including social expenses like invitations and festivals), how to manage expenses (and ourselves) when we go shopping. As it was a common issue, we also discussed how to educate children about money, and how to manage money with our husband. At the end of the day, participants applied their knowledge by brainstorming on the steps before buying a big item (we took a motorbike as example).
