Helping local Hong Kong women

The Women’s Foundation have commissioned a+b=3 to create a training programme to help low income Hong Kong women get more confident, improve their financial independence and find new ways to generate income.

After interviews and panel discussions, we created two training: Personal Enrichment and Introduction to Entrepreneurship. Personal Enrichment combines personal development skills (confidence, communication) with money topics (saving, building and using a budget, investing). Introduction to Entrepreneurship aims at giving basic knowledge and tools to women to assess if they are ready to set up their own business and what are the main steps.

Our second step was to run pilots of “Personal Enrichment” with three different local not-for-profit organisations.
