Family Development training in the Philippines

Last October, Enfance Foundation attended our short Training the Trainers, organised by France Volontaires, in Quezon City (Philippines) and facilitated by Lenlen (Enrich HK). After the workshop, Enfance Foundation used a+b=3’s financial literacy training database to update their programmes. They signed a partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development of the Philippines in order to deliver financial literacy to the beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyand Pilipino Program. They took some of the expenses cards, and the idea of making people work in groups on a sad story in order to find a better end, and adapted the story to the local context.

Since January, Enfance Foundation has conducted 16 Family Development Sessions attended by 908 members of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program.

They are also currently piloting a new home-based financial literacy training using other a+b=3 material.
