Reducing debts between neighbours

Since they attended a+b=3 training the trainers last year, Enfants du Mekong Cambodia’s social workers have been rolling out the “Money Management for families” workshop in Sisophon and Phnom Penh. The training focuses on the main issue faced by families: debt. The objective is to reduce the recourse to debt due to lack of planning, or saving for big expenses. Debts tend to increase the vulnerability of the family who borrows, but also of the neighbours and relatives who lend (and then don’t have enough money for their own expenses).
